Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Shipping & Logistics Lead who will also handle key customer service functions. This hybrid role involves overseeing daily shipping operations, managing logistics workflows, and serving as a point of contact for customer inquiries related to orders, tracking, and delivery. The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, and experienced in both logistics coordination and client communication.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:Logistics & Shipping:--- Lead and coordinate all shipping activities, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment--- Manage relationships with freight carriers and negotiate competitive shipping rates--- Oversee the preparation of shipping documentation (e.g., bills of lading, customs forms, packing slips)--- Ensure compliance with domestic and international shipping regulations, customs requirements, and company policies--- Track shipments and proactively resolve delivery issues or delays--- Maintain shipping schedules and update internal systems with accurate tracking and order statusCustomer Service:--- Respond to customer inquiries related to orders, delivery timelines, and shipment status--- Provide professional, timely assistance via phone, email, or chat--- Resolve order discrepancies, damages, or delivery complaints efficiently and empathetically--- Collaborate with warehouse and sales teams to ensure a seamless customer experience--- Maintain accurate customer records and order documentation--- Perform other duties as assigned.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE--- High school diploma or equivalent. --- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or related field preferred.--- Five years of experience in shipping/logistics.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (SKILLS AND ABILITIES)--- Strong knowledge of domestic and international shipping processes and freight regulations--- Proficiency in Microsoft office and experience with logistics, ERP, or CRM software --- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills--- Effective communication, listening, and problem-solving abilities--- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.--- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently, while still working as a part of a team.--- Excellent ability to multi-task and prioritize in a busy, fast-growth environment --- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills--- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlinesPHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
