An international manufacturing company specializing in machine-tool technology is looking for a Field Service Engineer based in Cleveland, OH. The ideal candidate will have a maintenance background and will be able to provide field service support up to 90% of the time.

Field Service Engineer Responsibilities:

Travel to customer locations to identify any technical problems and perform on-site repair
Offer installation and maintenance support for machine tool equipment and CNC
Read mechanical drawings and blueprints to resolve issues and complete repairs
Document and report any issues
Crosstrain on mechanical, electrical and electronic maintenance
Attend seminars and conferences
Provide top customer service and training to clients/customers
Show attention to detail



Field Service Engineer Qualifications:

Associate's degree in engineering preferred, or a 2-year technical degree. Relevant experience will also be considered.
Minimum of four years of maintenance or related experience required (such as Industrial, Manufacturing, Metal Fabrication, or Automotive)
Able to use dial indicators, micrometers, voltmeters, and calipers or other kinds of measurement equipment
Should be in proximity to an international airport (within an hour commute)
Able to travel nationwide 90% of the time for projects, including some overnight. Travel would be Monday through Friday.
Must have mechanical, electrical and/or electronics experience
Familiarity with CNC (preferably Fanuc) and machine tool equipment is required
Familiarity with hydraulics and pneumatics systems is preferred
Able to intermittently sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch & lift up to 30 pounds
