Fire Marshal

The Township of Grosse Ile, MI (10,750) is seeking experienced applicants for the position of Grosse Ile Fire Marshal. The position is responsible to perform various duties including equipment inspection, administration, organizing, training and response to EMS/Fire Calls, and commercial, industrial, etc. facility inspections and reporting The Fire Marshal is required to maintain certifications as a fire fighter and EMT pursuant to the Fire Department's S.O.G.'s. This is a non-union, at will and "new hire" position. The position is full-time with a comprehensive benefits package; salary will be $54,525-$64,525 DOQ. Grosse Ile's Fire Department is staffed by a Fire Chief, Fire Marshal, Office Staff, and approximately 30 volunteer firefighters. The department services approximately 4000 residents.
