As a Shipping and Receiving Associate at Maradyne, you will play a key role in our success by ensuring all shipments are processed efficiently and accurately. From preparing shipping documents to coordinating with carriers like UPS and FedEx, your work will be vital to keeping our operations running smoothly. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPerform daily duties of shipping including creating pick lists and bill of ladings.Contact and schedule carriers for out-bound shipments.Communicate with customer service representatives regarding any changes in customerorder status.Pull and assemble orders for shipment, verifying count, weight, loading and unloading asrequired.Maintain a system that ensures full accountability for all material transactions in the receiving,warehouse and shipping process.Monitor and perform daily transactions to ensure accuracy and uniformity of methods.Verify incoming materials to packing list to ensure order fulfillment and/or no damage isevident.Other duties as assigned GENERAL SKILLSRequires general knowledge of the ERP - MRP applications.Must be able to speak/read/write English.Must be timely and detail oriented to avoid errors and untimely shipments.EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE2-4 years of experience in shipping and receiving.1-2 years of forklift/powered industrial truck experience.Previous experience with UPS/FedEx systems and shipping requirements QUALIFICATIONSSpecific knowledge of receiving, inventory, and shipping processes and procedures.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSForklift certification required PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONThis position operates in a manufacturing environment where the temperature is not maintained throughout the year.
